A capstone project created by Layne Maddox with the goal to make this region a better place to bike. Layne hopes to reach this goal through hosting bike events, discussing bicycle parking options with businesses, and working with the community to find solutions.
I challenge each and every one of you to try and get a Bike-Go (short for Bicycle Bingo) this year! Some of the squares are more lighthearted and others are more challenging. There is sure to be some combination of five in a row for everyone! Click on the image to see a printable version.
BIKE LAYNE TAKES THIRD IN PITCH COMPETITION
Layne Maddox competed in the ETSU Elevates pitch competition on October 7, 2024. Bike Layne ended up winning third place in the competition and earning an additional $1000 in funding to improve the bikeability of this region. This funding will be used for bike parking specifically.
